On their own, Kevin Athey and John Deterding enjoyed successful careers as custom homebuilders and remodelers. John grew up through the business side of construction and Kevin through the trades. Together they saw undeniable advantages in combining their unique talents. So, in 1988, they formed Athey & Deterding with the goal of remodeling and building homes to the highest possible standards.

A STRONG FOUNDATION

While Kevin’s main responsibility is managing construction, John works on project development and business particulars. Together, they work with homeowners and architects to ensure each project exceeds the expectations of everyone.
